Mustang softball fights off weather, opponents to open season

The Lady Mustang softball team is off to a fast start in the win column, but a slow start in the amount of games played. Mother Nature has had other plans, and rain has been cancelling games at an alarming rate.

The ladies were able to get in a couple games this past week though, winning games against North Lamar and Prairiland.

Their first game on Friday was against the Patriots and the ladies were able to make a big second inning start the rout, ultimately winning in 4 innings 11-1.
