Jackson looks to form 6-man football team in Cass County

George “Jug” Jackson is a name that is etched in Atlanta Rabbit football history.
Jackson is looking to start a 6-man football program here in Cass County which would be dubbed the “Cass County Crusaders”.
The team would adhere to UIL rules and eligible players would be home school boys/girls or high school boys/girls not playing football for a high school team, boys/girls in grades 9-12 starting in 2018, boys/girls who must be passing their classes and must be in good standing at school.
Athletes must live in Cass County to be eligible to play.
Practice days would be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in Atlanta or Linden.
Games would be played on Saturday afternoon and all games would be on the road at Union Hill, Tyler, Marshall, Longview, Henderson, Chester or Apple Springs.
Parents would be expected to get their son’s to practice and help the team get to the games.
