Lady Mustangs throw shutout over Daingerfield

The Daingerfield Lady Tigers welcomed cross town rival Hughes Springs to town on March. 9. Two Lady Mustangs pitchers combined to throw a 24-0 shutout over Daingerfield. Zoe Lanier induced a groundout from Jamie Nix to finish off the game.

The Lady Mustangs Varsity secured the victory thanks to 13 runs in the second inning. Charlie Reeves, Calli Stewart, Abbye McKinney, Kensley Echols, Marisol Kennedy, and Shelbie Fickling each drove in runs during the inning.

Hughes Springs got things started in the first inning when Kennedy drew a walk that scored one run.
