AVINGER -- Services for Helen Alford, 92, of Avinger, were held March 22 at Avinger United Methodist Church. Burial followed at Avinger Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Ms. Alford was born June 18, 1925 and died March 19.
