Friends group works to enhance park experience

The Daingerfield State Park offers a plethora of activities and opportunities for visitors. To make sure the park runs smoothly, there is a staff of dedicated rangers who are on site for all major events.

But rangers can only do so much. Being a state entity, there are some things that the park and its employees cannot do, like accept monetary donations or certain events outside of the park. This is where the park needs assistance from its “friends.”
