Driggers, Cheatum lead Daingerfield Class of 2018

DAINGERFIELD – Daingerfield High School has released their top graduates for the Class of 2018. Melinda Hope Driggers has earned Valedictorian honors, while Mya Cheatum was named salutatorian.
Driggers has been active during her time at Daingerfield High School, serving multiple roles in many activities. She has been a member of the National Honor Society and Future Farmers of America, serving as an FFA adviser as well as serving one year each as FFA vice-president and FFA president. For her efforts in FFA, Driggers earned the Lone Star Degree, which is the highest degree of membership that can be awarded by the state FFA Association.
