LONE STAR -- Services for Esther Ruth Hopkins, 84, of Lone Star were held June 9 at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Lone Star. Burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs. Ms. Hopkins was born Sept. 8, 1933, and passed away June 2.
