Hughes Springs Independent School District receives superior achievement financial rating

Hughes Springs Independent School District has received a Superior Achievement rating in the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST). Business Manager Derick Sibley announced the rating at the board’s Oct. 21 meeting.
“Hughes Springs received a 70 out of 70 possible points on the rating from the Texas Education Agency,” Mr. Sibley said. “Hughes Springs ISD has achieved this rating continuously since the 2001-02 school year.
“We are proud of this continuous superior achievement and strive continuously to ensure that we meet the standards every year.”
