Daingerfield kicker doing well at Navarro College

Daingerfield’s own Carlos “Charlie” Macias is fastly gaining respect from other teams in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference as one of the premier kickers in the conference, as well as in the nation.
In Navarro’s 33-24 win over sixth-ranked Tyler Jr. College  in the conference semi-final game, Navarro led by only a field goal at the half but scored 17 points in the second half (five points which were made by Macias) enroute to the victory over the Apaches.
Macias, a 2013 graduate from Daingerfield, was flawless going 3-3 on his extra points and 4-4 on his field goals (25,36,37,42).
Macias was named the MVP of the game. Macias also broke a school record at Navarro College for most field goals in a game (4) and also broke another record in single season kick scoring mark.
