Services for Obie ‘Nubbin’ Senn Jr., 88 of Daingerfield will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at First Baptist Church in Cason with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Cason. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Mr. Senn was born Nov. 15, 1925 in Grady, Ark. and died Dec. 11, in Pittsburg.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cason where he served as a deacon and taught Sunday school for many years. He was a veteran of the U S Army serving during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife Attilaye Senn; son, Wayne Senn; two sisters, Dorothy Goolsby and Beverly Jones; and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Betty Senn of Daingerfield, Glenn and Sharon Senn of Garland, Perry and Becky Senn of Tomball and Diana Senn of McKinney; sister, Elizabeth Ryan of Cason; and brother, Billy J. Senn of Mesquite; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
