Frances J. Hatcher

Hatcher Services for Frances J. Hatcher, 91, of Kingsland, will be held at the Buchanan West Baptist Church, 850 Lillian Dean St. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at noon. Burial will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Burnet under the direction of Putnam Funeral Home in Kingsland. Mrs. Hatcher was born Jan. 12, 1922, to L.G. “Bob” and Golda [Cartwright] on Jan. 12, 1922 in Hughes Springs and died in Burnett following a short illness. Mrs. Hatcher was a homemaker who was very involved with her family. She graduated from Hughes Springs High School. She was a member of the Buchanan West Baptist Church and past member of the First Baptist church of Kingsland, Texas and Lakeside Baptist Church in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Dorothy Brantley, previous husband, J.M. Hall and a grandson, Mark Whitlow. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ted L. Hatcher; children, Linda Whitlow, Michael Hatcher and Tedilu Darbyshire;, grandchildren, Brent Whitlow, Kelly Hatcher, Christi Rushing and Benjamin Darbyshire, great-grandchildren, Emma Whitlow, Cameron and Isabella Hatcher, Megan and Preston Rushing. Visitations will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Putnam Funeral Home. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com.
