Devils steal the win from the Tigers

The Daingerfield Tigers’ basketball season has come to an end. The Chapel Hill-Mount Pleasant Devils won the Feb. 19 Bi-District match against the Tigers. The final score was 57-45.
Starting point guard Jamarius Wilkerson scored 14 points and added five rebounds to command the offense for Daingerfield. Robert Johnson and Jonathan Barber put up 8 points respectively, with Johnson contributing three boards and two block shots, while Barber snatched nine boards and had one block shot. Calvin Bryant tallied 7 points along with pitching in four rebounds. Keaton Key factored in 5 points and three rebounds with Spencer Alexander scoring 3 points, grabbing five rebounds, and blocking one shot.  
Scoring summary for the Devils began with A. Nunn knocking down 14 points, followed by D. Neuber contributing 12. C. Gatlin had 10, A. Mercer supplied 9 points, K. Banda and L. Millsap each pitched in 4, and B. Rogers and T. Dickerson included 2 points apiece.      
The Tigers wrapped the season up with a 12-7 overall record.
