Services for Larry Lindle Barnard, 59 of Lone Star will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan.10, at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted White officiating. Interment will be in the Clark Cemetery, under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Barnard was born Aug. 1, 1954, in Mount Pleasant and died Jan. 7, in Lone Star.
He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, the Lone Star Volunteer Fire Department and the National Rifle Association. He was a former employee of Lone Star Steel.
Survivors include his wife Glinda Barnard of Lone Star; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and April Barnard of Hughes Springs, Chris and Tracey Barnard of Hughes Springs and Allen and Katie Barnard of Hughes Springs; stepchildren, Craig Ottinger of Fort Wayne, Ind., Richey Ottinger of Hagensport and Latrica Ayling of Lone Star; parents, Cloven and Peggy Barnard of Daingerfield; sisters, Sharion Crawley of Argo, Paula Williams of Daingerfield, Misty Stutsman of Daingerfield, Stephanie Helms of Daingerfield and Mindie Barnard of Pittsburg; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
