Services for Frances Ann Dyer, 93, of Neosho, Mo., were held Feb. 25 at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho.
Mrs. Dyer was born Feb. 9, 1921, in Hughes Springs and died Feb. 20 at Freeman Hospital in Neosho. She moved to Boulder City, Mo., in 1947 from Texas. She and her husband, Claude, owned and operated the Boulder City Grocery Store from 1947 through 1973. She had worked at Big Smith and La Z Boy, retiring from La Z Boy in 1988. Frances was an avid card player and an active member of the Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ. She married Claude Dyer in May of 1944, at Dallas, and he preceded her in death on May 2, 1991. She was preceded in death also by one brother, Glenn Hall.
Survivors include Jarrell Wayne and Carolyn Dyer, son and daughter-in-law, and Ron and Vickey Dyer, son and daughter-in-law; grandchildren, Brian Dyer, Jeff Dyer, Cheryl Poage and Brad Dyer; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Erma Dean Moore and Maxine Beckett; and one brother, John Hall.
