Students qualify for State competition

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America group from Hughes Springs went to competition in Irving for the Region 3 Conference and qualified for State competition.
Chapter in Review Display team winners were Austin Calcote, Kayla Watkins and Kaycee Willis in second place.
Chapter in Review Portfolio team winning fifth place were Macy O’Dell and Alisha Fields.
Illustrated Talk Seniors winning second place were Dashe Hatten and Shelby Simpson.
Environmental Ambassador winners with second place were Jessica Modisette, Ciara Morua and Anna Applin.
Entrepreneurship winners in second place were Katharina Dietrich, Scarlett Day-Aleman and Reagan Taylor.
Medalists were Kali Calcote, Shilo Sims, Leanna Bartuska with silver medals and Dashe Hatten and Chloe Hall with bronze medals.
