Fireman Kyle Sands educates Scouts on fire trucks

Girl Scout Troop 7175 and Tiger Cubs Den 4 visited the Daingerfield Volunteer Fire Department to learn about safety. Fireman Kyle Sands showed them the equipment a fire fighter uses and what a fireman’s job is and how firemen help in an emergency.
The Scouts were able to sit in the fire truck and covered their ears when the siren sounded. The Scouts were also shown how to use a fire extinguisher.
