Area law enforcement personnel training held

Morris County Sheriff Jack Martin hosted a day of training on May 15 for area law enforcement personnel. Officers from several agencies within Morris County were presented with useful information on various topics, which should result in better police reports, stronger criminal cases, and lead to more criminal convictions. 
 
The presenters for the training session were Texas Ranger Ken Bond, County and District Attorney Stephan Cowan and Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Ranger Larry Hand. 
 
Agencies represented at the training were the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, the Daingerfield Police Department, the Lone Star Police Department, the Omaha Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife and the Texas and Southwest Cattle Raisers Association.
