Movies in the park are in full swing

The city of Hughes Springs is hosting movies in the park in Spring Creek Park on Highway 11 next to city hall offices. All movies start at dusk or approximately 8:15 to 8:30 p.m.
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” will be shown Friday, June 6, with “The Karate Kid” shown on Saturday, June 7.
Movies are free and bleachers are available to sit on; however, some people prefer to bring a blanket or lawn chair.
People may reserve the park and the screen for private parties, with some restrictions. For further information, call the city hall offices at 903-639-7519.
The new electronic sign across from the bank gives the next movie title and the date.
The movies are sponsored by the 4B Economic Development Corporation of Hughes Springs.
