Community theatre musical tickets on sale soon

Jefferson’s community theatre, the Opera House Theatre Players, has announced a nearly completed casting for their upcoming summer musical “Cheaper By The Dozen” scheduled for July 3-4-5 at the Transportation-Tourist Building.
 
Cast in the lead roles of Frank and Lillian Gilbreth is Patrick Fortune and Penny Cochran. Both had worked with the Players before and appeared in the last production “Mama Won’t Fly.”
 
Other character roles cast were Morris Barton as Dr. Burton and Angela Martinez as Miss Brill; pending casting for the many children’s roles will be announced as soon as possible and several additional male and females are needed for the roles. 
 
“Cheaper By The Dozen” is a musical play adaptioin of the book written by a real-life brother and sister, Frank Gilbreth, Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey. It was one of the most successful best-sellers ever published and is currently in print in eleven languages. The show is founded on fact because the Gilbreths are not only an extraordinary family, they’re also a very real one.
