Second Annual Mike Burke Day is Tuesday

Mike Burke, a 1974 graduate of Daingerfield High School, will be throwing out the first pitch on March 19 as the Tigers square off against the Hughes Springs Mustangs at Tiger Field. Game time is 7.
Mr. Burke was a outstanding athlete for Daingerfield High School, as a catcher on the baseball team and a running back on the Tigers’ football team. He was diagnosed with dementia three years ago. Donations will be taken at the baseball game to offset some of his medical costs.
