Services for Bettie Lee Pennington, 85 of Daingerfield will be held at 2 p.m.,
Sunday, June 22, at First Baptist Church in Cason with Scott Darby officiating.
Interment will be in the Emory City Cemetery, under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday June 21, at the funeral home.
Bettie was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Rains County, and died June 19, in Mount Pleasant. She was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, Irving, and attended First Baptist Church of Cason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" and Maude Sisk; brothers W.J. Sisk and Lynn Sisk; sister Christine Ridenour; and daughter-in-law, Linda Glenn.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Pennington of Daingerfield; sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Vickie Glenn, and Rickey Glenn both of Cason; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Billy Skidmore of Hico, step-daughters and husband, Dawan and Tony Przano of Colleyville, Shonda VanName of Hurst; brother and spouse, Robert and Dollie Sisk of Emory, sister and spouse, Nannie Jo and Willie Earl McQueen of Emory; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and10-great-great-grandchildren.
