Vehicles crashes into downtown building

Investigation is ongoing into a vehicle crash in the early morning hours of Sunday in downtown Hughes Springs, according to Hughes Springs Police Chief Randy Kennedy.
 
“Corey Holloman, 34, of Hughes Springs, crashed his 1997 Mercury into the front of Giovanni’s Restaurant Sunday morning at 3:17,” Chief Kennedy said. “Hughes Springs Police Officer Scott Sartain is investigating this incident.”
 
Giovanna’s Restaurant is in the Teel & Company building at 302 1st St. in Hughes Springs.
