Cass County deaths of man and 12-year-old remain under investigation sheriff says

A 13-year-old has been placed in a juvenile detention facility while the investigation continues on a double homicide that occurred in Cass County on June 27, according to Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe. 
“The 13-year-old was placed in a facility in Longview upon the request of Cass County District Judge Ralph Burgess,” Sheriff Rowe said. “A semi-automatic pistol was the only weapon recovered at the scene. We are still in the process of investigating this shooting, interviewing people and no arrests have been made.” 
Damon Robison, 32, along with a 12-yearold, were found deceased at a residence on County Road 2747 near Marietta, according to Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe. 
Texas Ranger Jay Womack and Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe are investigating the deaths.
