Music City Texas
Music City Texas Theater presents Hickory Hill Bluegrass on Aug. 16; and Earl Thomas Conley on Aug. 30. For tickets, call 903-756-9934 Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theater is located at 108 Legion St. in Linden. Check the web site at www.musicitytexas.org.
Paddling Texas Trails
One of the fastest growing segments of outdoor recreation in Texas is ‘Keep Cool Padding Texas.’ Finding a place to put in or take out a kayak or canoe is a lot easier since Texas Parks and Wildlife has added several new paddling trails so folks can stay cool this summer and see nature up close. PhyNet Open Houses
PhyNet will host an open house at its Hughes Springs and Linden Clinics. In Hughes Springs at 201 E. 2nd Street the event will be held July 31 at 4 p.m.
Bingo
Bingo will be held at the Old Ice House on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Old Ice House is located at 106 Scurry St. in Daingerfield.
