Services for Mary Ann Nix Camp, 76, of Bullard and formerly of Daingerfield, were held July 29, at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs. Follis
Services for Grace Marie Taylor Follis, 85, of Hughes Springs, were held Aug. 1, at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Larry Neeley officiating. Burial was at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
Mrs. Follis was born Sept. 8, 1928, in Hughes Springs. She graduated from Hughes Springs High School in 1946. She attended beauty college in Longview and operated Grace’s Beauty Shop in Hughes Springs for many years. Grace went to her eternal rest on Tuesday, July 29, at the East Texas Medical Center in Pittsburg. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Thomas Follis; her parents, Andy and Laura Taylor; one grandson, Steve Follis; three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Sue Follis of Hughes Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Vonda and Dr. Kit Shaddix of Lilburn, Ga.; grandson, Dr. Kyle Shaddix and wife, Dr. Meredith Shaddix of Jacksonville, Fla.; two granddaughters, Lori Follis of Longview and Kourtney Duffie and husband, Jon of Ocean City, Md.; two great-grandsons, Knox Shaddix and Colt Duffie; sister, Bernelle York of Hughes Springs; and two brothers, A. D. Taylor of Mount Pleasant and Wesley Taylor of Nacogdoches.

Services for Albert V. Freeman, 82, of Cookville, were held Aug. 5, at Bates- Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, with Loyd Bedsworth officiating. Interment was at Greenhill Cemetery in Mount Pleasant. Mr. Freeman was born Sept. 2, 1931, in Mount Pleasant and died July 31 at his residence. Online registry is available at batescoopersloanfuneralhome.com.

Graveside services for Vister Lee Hartzo, 97, of Avinger, were held Aug. 4, at Chapelwood Cemetery with David Riedl officiating. Mrs. Hartzo was born April 18, 1917, in New Albany, Mississippi to Henry and Myrtle Rakestraw Pannell, and died July 31, at her residence. Memorial services for Thomas Ray Stevens, 81, of Daingerfield, were held Aug. 4, at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel in Daingerfield. Mr. Stevens was born April 27, 1933, in Omaha, to Audie James and Annie Cleora Stevens and died July 25 at his home in Daingerfield.
