The Tigers in hopes of getting in the win column against Winnsboro let the game slip in the final two minutes as the Red Raiders scored their final and deciding touchdown of the night to defeat Daingerfield 43-36 in a high scoring district opener for both teams.

Winnsboro wasted little time getting on the board first taking the opening kickoff and converting a 3rd and 24 into a 72-yard scoring strike from Lucas Pinell to Jeremy Moses to put the Red Raiders up 7-0. The Tigers came back to tie the game when Malik Higgins connected with Jesse Biles on a 11 yard TD pass to tie the game at 7 to 7 at the end of the first quarter.
