Pauline Lyles 
Services for Pauline Amox Lyles were held Oct. 31 at Reeder Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Lyles was born Mar. 23, 1919 and went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 22, 2014.
 
Bobbie Jean Hatten
Services for Bobbie Jean Hatten, 81, formerly of Cason, were held Nov. 1 at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial followed at Whitmore Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Hatten was born June 12, 1933 and passed away Oct. 25, 2014. 
 
Louise Davis 
Services for Louise Davis, 94, of Daingerfield, were held Nov. 1 at Wallick Chapel Christian Church in Daingerfield. Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery in Cason under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Ms. Davis was born on May 20, 1920 and passed away on Oct. 26, 2014.
 
Curtis "Shine" Garrett 
Service for Curtis "Shine" Garrett, 66, of Daingerfield, were held Nov. 1 at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield. Mr. Garrett was born March 31, 1948. 
 
Danny Lewis Cate II 

Funeral services for Danny Lewis Cate II, of Jefferson, will be 1 p.m. Nov. 6, 2014 at Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Markle and Bro. Dan McGuire officiating.  Burial will follow at Cornett Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.  There was a time of visitation Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

 Danny was born Oct. 5, 1981 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas and passed away Nov. 2, 2014 in Hughes Springs. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Cate I; grandparents, Wilma and Les Huddleston and Bill and Lorece Cate; and cousin, Jerry Terry.

He leaves to cherish his memory of his daughter, Caleigh Cate; fiance, Amanda Powell; mother, Lynn Cate Lovelady and step-father Steve Lovelady; two sisters, Christi Cate of Hughes Springs and Leslie Feagins and husband J. C. of Blue Ridge, Texas; nieces and nephews, Dakote Cate, Sierra Blankenship, Bailey Svrcek, Clay Feagins, and Ross Feagins; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
