WalMart Neighborhood Market store nearing completion in Lone Star

The Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market in Lone Star is nearing completion. The mini version of Wal-Mart's Supercenter will offer everything from a full service grocery department, pharmacy and gas station. 
According to WalMart's Director of Communications, Anne Hatfield, the store will hold a grand opening in January. The store is scheduled to open on Jan. 7 at 7:30 a.m.
Hatfield said that WalMart will hire up to 30 associates that will staff the store. Some associates have already been hired and are currently training at other WalMart locations until the Lone Star location opens. 
"This is really exciting," Hatfield said. "It is busy and really exciting at the same time. There are so many things that go into a store opening. Everything is going according to planned and we look forward to providing for our customers in the Lone Star area."
