Most little kids want toys, an iPad or an XBOX, but one local little fella, Ethan Reeder,  said all he wants for Christmas is for his family and everyone else in the world to have joy peace.
The Daingerfield Elementary student's letters to Santa arrived at The Steel Country Bee last week, in route to the North Pole.
When asked why he didn't ask Santa for toys or electronics he replied with the most sincere look in his eyes that a child could have.
"Toys really don't matter," Ethan said. "It's about Jesus' birth. There is only one present that can truly fit under the tree, and that is hope for the whole world."
Ethan says he knows there will be many children locally and around the world that won't receive presents for Christmas. Despite knowing that, he still holds a Christmas wish in his little heart for them.
"My wish for kids that won't get toys is that they still have a good Christmas," Ethan said.
