Daingerfield Chamber invites community to a celebration

The Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce invites the community to join them in “A Year To Celebrate: Celebrating the past year of Holidays, Events and Activities” when they hold their annual awards banquet. The banquet will be held Feb. 28 at the Daingerfield-Lone Star High School cafeteria, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Daingerfield Volunteer Fire Department will prepare a steak dinner.
The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of awards. The chamber will award the Citizen of The Year, Business of the Year, the Community Pride Award and the Community Service Award. Award recipients in 2014 were: Mark Cheu, Citizen of the Year; Daingerfield Flower Mill, Business of the Year; Hawkins Family Restaurant, Community Pride Award and Daingerfield Volunteer Fire Department, Community Service Award.
