Chapel Hill slips by Daingerfield 46-42

Daingerfield took their 9-0 district record on the road Friday night as they traveled to Chapel Hill. The Tigers had handed the Red Devils a 20 point loss in the first round of district play, but amuch improved Chapel Hil team would defeat Daingerfield 46-42 for the Tigers first district loss of the season.The Red Devils would hold a slim 3 point lead at halftime, but would hold on for a 4 point win over the Tigers. The leading scorer for Chapel Hill was Damen Jones with 15 points. Daingerfield’s leading scorers were Reggie Jeter with 12 points, Denzel Mims with 11 points and KeKe Chism with 9 points.
