The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College will host the Vienna Boys’ Choir on Tuesday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. One of the oldest boys’ choirs in the world, it was founded in 1498 and has since delighted audiences around the world with music new and old.
“There’s no more gratifying sound than that of children singing. And there’s no more polished ensemble of children’s voices than the Vienna Boy Choir,” said Chris Shull of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram regarding the performance of the Vienna Boys Choir at the Bass Performance Hall.
Touring out of Austria, the Haydnchor branch will enchant listeners with a blend of contemporary and classic songs designed to inspire and entertain while sharing a rich musical heritage from around the world.
