Power outages and damage left in wake of storm

Storms ripped through the Steel Country area on April
24, uprooting trees and leaving many residents without
power. The major storm system barreled into the
Daingerfield and Hughes Springs area around 9 p.m.
High winds, coupled with a deluge of rain, wreaked havoc
on trees, businesses, and left debris littering the roads.
