Bill W. Arrington
Bill W. Arrington, Sr. of The Colony, passed away Thursday, May 21after a bout with cancer. Bill was born March 3, 1933 in Gadsden, Alabama to parents Del and Ernest Arrington. He graduated from Emma Sansom High School and attended college at Jacksonville State. He served during the Korean War as a member of the 805PH Air Police squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bosier City, Louisiana as Air Policeman 2nd Class. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Ann Eubanks Arrington, children Billy Arrington Jr and wife Rose of Little Elm, Keri Horton and husband Mike of Dallas, and Shelley Hornbeck of McKinney, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister Donna Freeman and husband Bill of Daingerfield, two brother-in-laws, James Stagg and wife Ann of Midlothian, Ronald Stagg of McKinney, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held June 13th, at 2:30 pm at Nail-Haggard Funeral Home, at 400 Webb Street in Daingerfield.
