Services for Lewis Harold Jones, 76, of Lone Star will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at the Lilley’s Chapel Church of Christ with Kenny Shaver officiating. Interment will be in the Clark Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones was born Oct. 2, 1936, in Gilmer and died Friday, April 05, in Longview.

He was a member of Lilley’s Chapel Church of Christ where he was the song leader for many years. He worked as a mechanic for IMS and T&N.

He was preceded in death by his son, Doug Jones.

Survived by his wife, Bonnie Byrd Jones of Lone Star; daughter, Linda Huggins of Fort Worth; sons, Lewis Jones Jr. of Midlothian, Alvin Jones, Larry Jones, and Tony Jones all of Lone Star; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
