Puppets teach children safety measures

Mrs. Irene Webster, left, along with puppets Tex, center, and Dot, teach children the importance of seatbelts
and car seats or big-kid boosters. The trio also addressed other aspects of vehicle safety ranging from waiting
on the school bus to the meaning of different street signs. Mrs. Webster works for the Texas Department of
Transportation, and came as part of the FRIENDS of the Public Library’s summer education program.
