Class Reunion
There will be class reunion for the Hughes Springs High School Class of 1948 on May 4 at Don Juans in Hughes Springs at 10:30 a.m. Anyone who was in school around that time is invited to join the reunion. For further information, contact Eloise Hull at 903-639-3026.

Williams Chapel
There will be praise, prayer and preaching at Williams Chapel Baptist Church Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. until noon sponsored by the women’s ministry. Special guests will be Annetta Whetstone and Ruthur Talbert.
Style Show

Spring Revival
Wallick Chapel Christian Church will hold its spring revival April 18, 19, and 20 at 7 p.m. Special guest speaker will be D.A. H ill from New Hope Baptist Church in Daingerfield.

Basketball tournament
The seniors of Daingerfield High School are hosting a basketball tournament for males ages 15 and up on the April 27 at 10 a.m. at the Daingerfield High School’s old gym. This is a two loss elimination tournament, so fight for the top two spots and maybe your team could be the one to receive the grand prize of $300. Sign-up ends April 18. Rabies Clinic
The Morris County Texas AgriLife Extension Service and the Daingerfield Veterinarian Hospital have teamed up to put on a county-wide rabies clinic May 11. Hours will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at Crumps Shopping Center in Lone Star; from 1 to 3 p.m. at Daingerfield Veterinary Hospital; and from 4 to 6 p.m. at Paul Pewitt High School parking lot.

Annual Youth Day
New Hope Missionary Baptist Church’s Annual Youth Day program will be held April 28, at 3 p.m.  Special guest is the Rev. Bobby Williams, pastor of Snow Hill Baptist Church in Ore City.

Lions Follies
