Truth, the gift of Christmas

What is it about hard situations that make us want to run? I can’t stand that gut feeling that says “This isn’t going to work out well,” when it nearly always does. I hate avoiding conversations, even though they nearly always end up positively. Why do we avoid hard things? I think it’s in our nature. Why didn’t Adam and Eve just go to God and say “Remind us what will happen if we eat from that tree.
