OWENS

 Danny Western Owens was born Oct. 2, 1938 and passed away May 17. Danny worked many years for E.G. McMillan at Piggly Wiggly and a number of years at Vineyards. He was the manager of Morris Twin Cinema in Daingerfield for 50 years where he will be fondly remembered as the ticket man. Danny was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and he enjoyed good food, family, and friends and spent his lifetime loving animals.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Elizabeth Owens; three sisters, Mary Redfearn, Louise Barton, and Della Owens; three brothers, Marky Owens, J.D. Owens, and Shorty Owens.

Danny is survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, and friends; as well as employers and special friends, Walter and Beverly Bass.

Services for Mr. Owens were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Bro. Larry Neeley officiating. Burial followed at Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
