The Daingerfield Public Library will host Story Time at the Library, beginning at 10 a.m.
July 19, 26 Reading groups
Reading groups for all ages will be held at the Hughes Springs Area Library beginning at 10:30 a.m.
July 21 4-H
There will be a 4-H Science and Healthy Living program at the Hughes Springs Public Library, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
July 21 Ice Cream in a bag
Children will learn how to make Ice Cream in a bag from Librarian Earline Walton. The program will be at the Morris County Annex, beginning at 10 a.m.
July 27 Football Equipment Pickup
Junior and Senior football players for Daingerfield High School can come check out equipment between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the field house.
July 28 Fun with Tex and Dot
The Texas Department of Transportation will teach children vehicle safety with a program entitled Fun with Tex and Dot, at the Morris County Annex, beginning at 10 a.m.
July 28 Hughes Springs Fire Department
The Hughes Springs Fire Department will be at the Hughes Springs Area Library, teaching children about fire safety. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. Come ready to get wet!
July 28 Football Equipment Pickup
Freshman and sophomore football players for Daingerfield High School can come check out equipment between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the field house. August 1 Daingerfield Football Full Practice
All members of the Daingerfield High School Football team are to report at 7 a.m. Practices will end at 1 p.m. each day.
August 6 Burrow Reunion
Northeast Texas Burrow kin will meet on Aug. 6 for a noon meal at Atlanta First Baptist Church at 306 Baker Street in Cass County. These are descendants of Banks E. Burrow and Marandy Elizabeth Mosley. For more information, contact delores.mccright@gmail.com.
September 24 Golf Tournament
