July 27 Football Equipment Pickup

Junior and Senior football players for Daingerfield High School can come check out equipment between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the field house.

July 28 Fun with Tex and Dot

The Texas Department of Transportation will teach children vehicle safety with a program entitled Fun with Tex and Dot, at the Morris County Annex, beginning at 10 a.m.

July 28 Hughes Springs Fire Department

The Hughes Springs Fire Department will be at the Hughes Springs Area Library, teaching children about fire safety. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. Come ready to get wet!

August 1 Daingerfield Football Full Practice

All members of the Daingerfield High School Football team are to report at 7 a.m. Practices will end at 1 p.m. each day.

August 1 Daingerfield High School Volleyball and Cross Country Summer Practice

All girls participating in volleyball or cross country at Daingerfield High School in the fall will need to report to the High School gym at 7:30 on August first. All athletes must have a current physical in order to begin practice on August 1.

August 6 Burrow Reunion

Northeast Texas Burrow kin will meet on Aug. 6 for a noon meal at Atlanta First Baptist Church at 306 Baker Street in Cass County. These are descendants of Banks E. Burrow and Marandy Elizabeth Mosley. For more information, contact delores.mccright@gmail.com.

August 6 Anniversary Banquet

Shady Grove Baptist Church will be sponsoring a 10 year Anniversary Banquet for Bishop Jessie, Sr. and Frankie Biles on Saturday, August 6, at 6:00 p.m. The banquet will be held at the Daingerfield Annex Building, and is a black and white attire affair. August 6 Bingo

The Daingerfield Senior Citizen’s will play Bingo from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center, located in Daingerfield. Everyone is invited to attend.

September 24 Golf Tournament
