Daingerfield Police Department is stepping up patrols for Memorial Day Click It or Ticket Campaign curing May 20 through June 2. Officers will be focusing on seat belt violations. Chief Tracey Climer urges everyone to buckle up.

Revival

The annual revival will be held at the Pine Buff Baptist Church, located on Highway 250 between Hughes Springs and Marietta, on June 7 at 7:30 p.m. Guest evangelist will be the Rev. S.L. Harris, pastor of the Collier Chapel Baptist Church in Baldwin. The public is invited.

Lone Star Steel Reunion

The Open Hearth Reunion of the Lone Star Steel Company will be held on June 4, at 6:30 p.m. at Catfish Village on Highway 155 North of Ore City. Employees and guests are invited. If you know of other former co-workers who have not attended the reunion, invite them to come.

Revival

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, on Highway 11 between Linden and Hughes Springs, will hold its annual revival meeting beginning Memorial Day, May 27 at 7 p.m. The three-day revival features music led by Bubba Hart, music leader of Austin Chapel MBC in Dekalb. Speakers for the event include Don Shirley, pastor of Friendship MBC in Hughes Springs on Monday; Larry Neeley, former pastor of Hughes Springs MBC and Rocky Branch MBC of Naples on May 28; and Bro. Perry Hart, pastor of Caves Springs MBC of Linden on May 29.

Basketball Camp
