LEE, JR.

 Funeral services for Thomas N. Lee, Jr. 88, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Daingerfield, were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at South Union Baptist Church with Bro. Chad Thompson officiating. Burial followed in the Clark Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.

Thomas was born on Nov. 13, 1927 to Thomas Nugent and Emma Loys Hughes Lee and died Sept. 11, 2016 in Texarkana.

He was retired from Lone Star Steel after 35 years of service, was a member of South Union Baptist Church and a Veteran of the U S Army serving during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Anita, grandson Joshua Andrew Lee; brothers Jimmy Wayne Lee, John Troyce Lee, Clifford Lee, and Leahmon Lavoia Lee; and sisters Sarah Knesek and Frances Schleabach.

Surviving are sons and daughter-in-law Terry and Lorie Lee of Daingerfield, Randy Lee of Houston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Pam and Kenny Shackleford of Texarkana Arkansas; brothers Robert E. Lee of Oklahoma City, OK and Royce Lee of Commerce, Texas; sisters Anna Glidden and Goldie Lee Landrum both of Houston, Tx.; grandchildren Jennifer Oldham, Lynn and Alex Bejarano-Carlile, Todd and Callie Lee, Seth Lee; great grandchildren Gabi Miller, Logan Miller and Ariana Bejarano-Carlile; numerous nieces and nephews.
