Solar eclipse seen in Daingerfield

A total solar eclipse was the hot news of the day on Aug. 21, although The Steel Country Bee reading area only experienced a partial show. According to interactive graphs on usatoday.com, Daingerfield saw 79.2 percent coverage during the eclipse, which is shown as the half-moon shape above the sun.
