Pilgrim and Simpson engaged

Ken and Donna Jaggers Pilgrim of Pittsburg, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Greta Gail Pilgrim, to William Pedrick Simpson son of Sate Representative David Simpson and his wife, Susan Pedrick Simpson of Longview.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jack and Norma Lawrence Jaggers of Winfield, and Lonnie “Bo” and Patty Pilgrim of Pittsburg. She is a 2008 home-school graduate, and a 2012 graduate of Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Va., completing a bachelor of arts in political theory.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Phil and Lorraine Hammerich Simpson of Dallas, and the late Michael Gene and Betty Chaney Pedrick of Tulsa, Okla. He is a 2009 graduate of Christian Heritage School of Longview, and will graduate in August 2013 from Texas A&M University with a bachelor of business administration degree in supply chain management. Following their marriage he will be employed by Pilgrim Bank of Mount Pleasant.

The couple plans to exchange vows on July 13, at the First Methodist Church in Pittsburg.
