DEA Drug Takeback event to be Oct. 28

DAINGERFIELD -- Daingerfield Police Department will again participate in the semiannual DEA Takeback event, where residents can safely dispose of their prescription drugs.

“Daingerfield Police Department will continue to partner with Northeast Texas Coalition Against Substance Abuse to provide the community with resources and information about substance abuse,” said Daingerfield Police Chief Tracey Climer. “Also, the National Take Back Initiative gives citizens opportunities to throw away old or unused prescription medications.
