DAINGERFIELD -- Graveside services for Richard Jewel Williams, 80 of Longview were held January 29, at the Clark Cemetery with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Richard was born August 4, 1937 in Daingerfield to Jewel Clark and Ruby A. Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Williams and half brothers Danny and Carl Clark. Richard was a member of South Union Baptist Church and veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by sister Glenda Smith and husband Joel of Longview; brothers Malcolm Williams and wife Linda of Trinity, Royce Williams and wife Gloria of Huntingdon, PA.; several nieces and nephews.
