DAINGERFIELD -- Services for Sybil Irene Parker Walton 85, of Daingerfield were held April 7, at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield with Dr. Tim Wade and Bro. Danny Broughton officiating. Burial followed in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Sybil was born on March 31, 1933 in Weldon, Texas to William Jeff and Sula Starns Parker. She died on Wednesday, April 4, in Pittsburg. She was a member of First Baptist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Northeast Texas Water Utility Association and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Cleo Jenkins and A.D. Walton, brothers Herbert and Charles Parker. Survived by her children Larry and Ede Jenkins of Daingerfield, Bobby and Ann Jenkins of Pittsburg, Kathy Jenkins of Garland, Jimmy Walton of Pittsburg, Robert and Earlene Walton of Daingerfield, Gary and Sue Walton of Whitehouse, Jamie and Paula Walton of Daingerfield; brother James and Louise Parker of Dallas, sister Janette Andrus of Longview; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
