Daingerfield — Daingerfield State Park is the place to experience the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world in Northeast Texas. During May, the park will host programs focused on family fun and learning about our natural world and cultural history. The park will conduct ranger led hikes traversing the Rustling Leaves Trail which winds around Little Pine Lake. Also during May, you will have a chance to fish with a Ranger, paddleboard with a Ranger exploring the lake, and have fun making nature art. In addition, view the heavens through telescopes with the assistance of trained astronomers. To bring each fun packed Saturday to a fitting conclusion, we will host Dances with jukebox favorites from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. All program are free to the public including our paddleboard event with a valid entrance permit.
