Daingerfield - Graveside services for Dorothy H. Glass, 92, of Daingerfield were held at Tuesday, June 26 at the Hughes Springs Cemetery with the Bro. Dan Gilliam officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Dorothy was born Jan. 29, 1926 in Hughes Springs to William Paul and Lorene Hall. She died Friday, June 22 in Greenville. Dorothy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Daingerfield where she was an active member until moving to Greenville. She was a member of the 20th Century Club and P.E.O. She was active with the Campfire Girls and past President of the PTA. Dorothy graduated from East Texas State University. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob C. Glass; and son, Steve Glass. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Carwile and husband Roger of Greenville; sister, Joan McClellen; grandchildren, Shelley Smith and husband Adam, Jennifer Dracos and husband Tom, Jessica Ford, Casey Glass and wife Julie, Kinsey Jenkins and husband Luis; nine great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Daingerfield.
